 The name means white vine and so it is when it is covered with masses of small, scented white flowers. This ancient and much written about vine which grows to 40 feet is not for the small garden. The fluffy seedheads are displayed well into winter. Flowers midsummer to late summer.(Click inset to enlarge.)
