Early Large-flowered Group (1983 J. Bouter & Zoon) – Deep, navy blue double and semi-double flowers. A spiky central tuft of stamens with red and blue overtones help create a very unusual flower. Here at Chalk Hill the color is more purple than blue perhaps because of soil and climatic conditions. In England they claim the color is more of a deep navy blue. Flowers May- June and August- October.
Height: 6-8 feet, Prune light (2), Zones: 4-9, Sun/ Part Shade
