Integrifolia Group (1835). This herbaceous variety, still one of the best, is historically important, being one of the earliest clematis hybrids. It has nodding, bell-shaped, dusky indigo-blue, with long pointed, twisting sepals and yellow anthers. Flowers Summer to late Summer.
