Early Large-flowered Group (pre 1881 Jackman) – Rosette shaped, always double, silvery mauve flowers. Flowers early summer to late summer. This is an old classic but a somewhat difficult plant. Many report this to be a weak grower and shy to flower but others have grown it with more success particularly in the warmer regions with longer growing seasons.
Height: 6-8 feet, Prune light (2), Zones: 4-9, Sun/ Part Shade.
